It was nine years ago that my would-be wife and I had our first kiss.
I still look back at times and wonder how in the heck she ended up with me and wasn’t the one running. It must have been the way I impressed her with my knowledge of garbage cans, the moon, and red-winged blackbirds. It sure couldn’t have been from the fact my romantic advice came mostly from the movies “Hitch” and “You’ve Got Mail,” but somehow it worked!
