It’s Love Song Day, again and again! That’s the theme for most things this week!

There was a crescent moon in the sky on my drive to work, and I wished I was somewhere else instead of in my car. In my head I ended up on a beach, with my wife, with me looking at the moon. I had to have my wife doing something. I decided she was watching a starfish. And we were holding hands. 🙂

Looking forward to the day when this is a real morning, and not one seeing a crescent moon from my car!

I was sitting on our deck and an older couple came walking down the street. His gray hair was curled up around his cap, and they were holding hands.

In love, walking down the sidewalk! Was it young love, or lifelong love? Didn’t matter, they looked happy!

I’ve noticed something, namely that when I’m with my wife time flies, and when I’m at work, time drags.

Life is much more exciting when I’m with my wife!

I believe I need to just quit my job and be with my wife full-time!

I originally started this morning’s song to my wife as a nice love song, kind of in a country motif, about a guy in a bar, destined to be with a girl standing there.

It was going along nicely, but then my phone, which has been giving me problems lately, stopped recording. Crap.

What to do? I tried to re-record the song, but as the original version was no longer anywhere to be found in my head, the song to a completely bizarre turn and ended up as this version. Happily the couple still found love.

It’s another “Love Song” day!

Yup, every now and then I return to the real reason for these songs, singing to my wife every morning and letting her know how much I love her.

I also get flustered with my love for her as sometimes the words I want to convey don’t come out of my mouth, for example, comparing love to wood. My wife had a better line – Like a relationship should.

I’m so glad she loves me!
